Transcription

+ Ἐπὶ πρεσβυτέρου ἐγένετω ὑ ψύφωσης τῆς ἁγίας ἐκλησίας σπουδῇ . Ὁ κύριος ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιο̃ν δωρύσετε αὐτους. Μνίσθητι κύριε καὶ υ καὶ τῶν ἐν τῖ κόμῃ ταύτῃ πάσις ψυχῆς. Ἐτελειώθη τὸ πᾶν ἔργον μενὸς Ἰουνίου ἰνδικτιῶνι ὀγδόῃ ἔτους ἑκατοστοῦ ἐβδόμου.

Translation

[(cross) Under so-and-so the priest?] was made the mosaic of the holy church [by the efforts of so-and-so. The Lord] will grant them [remittance] of their sins. Remem[ber, Lord, so-and-so and so-and-so] and those (who live) in this village, each and every soul. [The work was completed on the -- of the month of June?] in the eighth indiction, year one hundred and seven.
