זכור לטובה קדושת מרי רבי איסי הכהן המכיבד בירבי שעשה הפסיפוס הזה וטח את כותליו בסיד מה שנתנדב במשתה רבי יוחנן הכהן הסופר בירבי בנו שלום על ישראל אמן

Translation

Remembered for good, the sanctity of my master Rabbi Isai the priest, the honorable, birebbi, who made this mosaic and plastered its walls with lime, which was donate at a feast [of] Rabbi Johnan, the priest, the scribe, birebbi, his son. Peace upon Israel. Amen.
