Notes
Rectangular mosaic inscription with black letters white background and a black outline. The top of the inscription is damaged. Inscription carm0017 is in the same rectangle mosaic as inscriptions carm0014, carm0015, amd carm0016. It is the far right column. There are decorative branches below the far right and far left columns. The name, of Greek origin, is uncommon. One of 18 mixed funerary and dedicatory inscriptions in the church's early stratum. It and five others may have been funerary inscriptions; they lack the formulaic opening of other funerary inscriptions of the group, but do not record a donation as do the group's dedicatory inscriptions.
